The winner is... ALVINA!
Since Alvina is being published first the date I have set for publication is early January 2016. I know I really wanted to publish this year but I think that publishing next year gives me a bit more time to get everything ready. I have a feeling you guys will love it. I know I do. I love the way my characters interact with each other. It is the first of a three part series. But rest easy, I am thinking of creating other series that stem from this main one. Publication order will be Alvina, Time Traveller, Cursed. They are the three I have completed and two are going through the re-write stage.
Blurb:
"One spark creates a flame."
April Hollowwick knew little about life and even less about love, what she knew came from novels in the orphanage library where she lived and worked. She gets offered a home with a co-worker that has been her closest friend. April was able to see things that others couldn't. Just as she settles into life outside the orphanage she meets a Knight not from her realm, the exact one she had been dreaming about for weeks beforehand. He claims that she is from his realm and is the future Queen of Freyhollow. When things begin to come true April has no choice but to follow him into the unknown. All it takes is one spark to create a fiery flame between them.
This blog will be short and sweet as I haven't got my glasses yet and my eyes have been not up to scratch without them. In the month of August I have been working on re-writes and working with my horses as one is getting old enough to be broken in and I need the other to help with that process. Not only am I an Author, I break and train my own horses. Essentially my Mare 'Raine' was the first I broke in as I was told she was unbroken and used as a broodmare. However that wasn't the case at all. She had been broken in as a two year old and has been trained in Cutting, then used as a broodmare as she throws coloured foals. But I did have to start from scratch with her as she was untrusting. Horses are my life outside of being an Author. They have saved me in more ways than I can say. I'm at home in the saddle. To those that think horse riding isn't a sport: It takes a special kind of trust to step onto the back of an animal that has the potential to kill you in an instant. It's a sport where the ball has a mind of it's own. Horses are also great therapy.

Miss Raine and Myself.
I didn't know her original name so I gave her one after my all time favourite movie Spirit. She is the reason I want to rehabilitate abused and neglected horses. I want to give horses a voice. They aren't something that you should have because everyone else has one. They deserve respect and to be looked after. They should be treated with gentle kind hands. The gelding who is nearing the age to be broken in, was an unhandled six month old colt when we got him. Now, he is eighteen months old and I trust him to be led by my six year old brother without help. Horses know and will act accordingly. Horses are smarter than what people give them credit for.
Signing off.
